Who we are
Evera’s Strategic Board has overall responsibility for setting the goals of the LLP and delivering its objectives. Made up of Chief Executives and Directors from four housing associations, they are supported by a dedicated delivery team.
Claire is an experienced housing professional who held a number of senior positions at Circle 33 Housing Trust and Housing 21 before being appointed Director of Operations at Cross Keys Homes (CKH) when it was created in 2004.
Claire was appointed Chief Executive at CKH in 2014. She has taken CKH from strength to strength, increasing turnover and leading its most ambitious development programme – to build 500 homes per year and expand its geographical reach.
Claire has overseen the successful launch of Cross Keys Care, which provides care for older people in the community and in our extra care schemes, Kingfisher Court and Lapwing Apartments. Claire ensures CKH remains a commercial business with a social heart and is passionate about expanding the communities programme that changes so many people’s lives. Claire sits on the Board of Placeshapers and is also a member of Build East.
With over 25 years’ experience of working within the housing sector, Julie was appointed Longhurst Group’s Chief Executive in 2015 and has led the organisation through significant change, including the successful merger of Axiom in 2017, and the streamlining of 19 different Boards into one coterminous structure.
During Julie’s tenure, the Group has also maintained G1V1 status, returned record financial results and built over 800 new properties. She has also been instrumental in guiding the Group to adopt a more aligned approach that sees over 1,200 colleagues working together as ‘One Team, with ‘One Vision’ to improve lives.
Prior to this role, Julie who first joined the Group in 1995, held a number of senior roles in housing and in 1997 was made Managing Director for Spire Homes, where she was instrumental in securing a number of tenders and stock transfers.
With an MBA in Business Administration, Julie also sits on the Board of Hanover Housing – the national provider of services for older people and is a member of the East Midlands National Housing Federation (NHF) Executive Committee.
David was appointed CEO of Flagship in 2008 previously holding the position of Deputy CEO since it formed in 1998. He leads the Executive Team and is responsible for implementing board strategy and building a culture of continuous improvement. David has over 35 years’ experience in social housing, working with large housing organisations in senior leadership and board roles.
Elaine joined the Hyde Group as Group Chief Executive in June 2014 and is responsible for the strategic direction of the organisation; ensuring Hyde responds to meet the country’s challenging housing needs.
Elaine has worked in both the public and private sector in engineering consultancy, HM Prison Service and, most recently, Serco. She has run large high performing service operations and has grown businesses organically and through acquisition. She has more than 20 years strategic and operational experience in complex service delivery, development and property; and addressing complex funding challenges.
